Very Little is known of the God Ullr, What is known is his name means ‘Glory,’ and he is the son of Sif and an unnamed male, he is Thors stepson and half brother to Thrudr, Modi and Magni. He lives in the hall known as Ydalir or ‘Yew Dales.’ “Ýdalir it is called,where Ullr has, himself a dwelling made.”-Poetic Edda He presides over games and single combat. He is a god of hunting, often leading the wild hunt, described as being attractive and wearing a wolf skin cloak or sometimes a deer skin cloak. He is a famed archer like Skadi and is the patron god of skiing.
